Root SetCPU?

i already have SetCPU i have it set for 600mhz. I heard some have it set for 710mhz when you have cm6/cm7. I don't need it to be 710mhz, will it run stable at 700mhz and if so how do i set it correctly at 700mhz? Thanks!

CM6/7 are OC to 710 out of the box. i use SetCPU to underclock for battery life, but other than that you can set a custom profile in the app to run at what you want. 710 is stable as granite though.

also with cm7 you dont need setcpu...its built in.

If you are running stock or Icarus then you will not be able to go over 600.
CM6 is currently 710 but there will be future releases with 600. Because some phones are not stable at 710.
CM7 starts out at 600 but allows you to over clock up to 710.
