Setting Contact Pictures from short codes without saving to contacts, possible?

ok so I have kinda been getting obsessed with having contact pictures for everyone who I text message. I already have to do the make new phone contact thing to keep high resolution pictures. Anyway that is working fine however there are a few different places I get messages from short code services. Is it possible to give these shortcodes an icon WITHOUT having them show up in my contact list? So have an icon for messages from shortcode 65146 or whatever. I obviously don't want the shortcode to show up in my contact list since I would never call it or reply to it unless I wanna stop it.

Any ideas?

Yea thats what I was kinda thinking unless there is a way to hide contacts maybe?
