setting different notification sounds

Treue

Lurker
Hey guys.

I would like to set my different notification sounds. whenever it is my turn on hanging with friends I get my default notification alert. Whenever my battery is fully charged I get my default notification alert. I would like to individually set each alert so that I can tell the difference between what is alerting me of.

Lightflow allows you to modify your audible notficitions, vibration patterns and color of your LED notification (LED is hardware dependent). You can even set the frequency of the reminders.

Get the free version. There is no reason to pay for the full version unless you consider facebook notifications, etc critical. You can see the list of what you get with the paid version on their website

Can you not set each application to a different notification sound? I've done this on my Desire HD, even running the stock ROM. A different tone for, say a calendar reminder and a text message.

Never bother with different ones now, just use a single alert tone, 'cos I could never remember what tone I'd set for what ....

Lightflow does that and so much more.

- individual contacts can be set to specific tones and colors regardless of the notification. For example, anything coming from my daughter will be green and repeat every five minutes for one full day or until I pick it up. No one else has this setting.
- anything google related (mail, calendar, etc) is blue with a unique tone and will repeat every 20 minutes and the LED will blink slower for up to 2 hours.
- facebook will only audio alert once and nothing more.
- all of this is handled by one universal application instead of going to many
- multiple alerts will change colors every 20 seconds so I can look across the room and see just the color of the LED to tell me what alerts I have (once again LED colors is hardware dependent)
- etc etc
