Help Setting Email Preferences

I just got a Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge. I would like to set up my email preferences to, when I click on the Email icon, always bring up my combined email box and automatically be sorted in read/unread order.

Is this possible?

I don't know if you can with the Samsung email app, but AquaMail can. Probably some other apps also such as K-9, Maildroid, Type Mail, etc.

AquaMail has what's called a 'Smart Folder'. Think of it as like an ordinary combined inbox, but configurable, with several options. There's a sort order option with several choices including read first or unread first.

AquaMail won't start with the Smart Folder open, but it's only one tap. Highly configurable with a terrific UI, it's my favorite email client.
