setting up sbcglobal email

We cannot get sbcglobal.net email to set up - Verizon carrier on the Eris - any help? We have tried all of the suggestions already posted on other threads to no avail

as of 10/25/13 my Verizon Galaxy Fascinate is not receiving sbcglobal.net email due to a certificate path error. ATT says "it's a known issue an we are working on it." This has been going on for perhaps 2 weeks now.
