Settings keep scaling and blurring wallpaper

Kianglo

Lurker
I'm using a Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, and whenever I try to change the wallpaper in the settings, it comes out blurry.

Even the preloaded wallpapers end up with a terrible resolution. They look perfect in the preview, but awful when actually applied. I have no idea why this would happen unless the software is intentionally cutting the resolution, which makes NO sense at all. Who would want a blurry wallpaper?

Why is this happening?

That's odd. Did it just start happening? Could the wallpaper images have been altered in any way? Are you the original owner of the tablet? How do images look if you look using Gallery?
Can you determine what resolution the images are? Look under Properties.

They have not been altered. The resolution is fine as they came as preloaded background images. They look perfect in the preview as I am setting them, but then they look bad as the actual wallpaper.
