Settings > Miscellaneous files (taking up 4GB)

looked around XDA and here at android forums and couldn't find an answer...does anyone know what makes up the Miscellaneous Files when you go to Settings > Storage? it's taking up 4GB on the internal storage. is that all of the Samsung Touchwiz bloat? if so, that is ABSURD.

i am 100% stock, never rooted (but thinking about it soon if JB doesn't come out for Verizon folks).

My S3 on AT&T has only 448MB in Misc. Could one of your app's files be in that category? Or do you have big files like videos that you have marked as hidden?

Your phone seems to think it is 16GB when over 4GB of that should be the ROM etc. The system and cache partition should take that up. Your total available storage should show as 11.35 GB. Or similar so my guess is something is screwy on your device or maybe even your version of the device.

Here is mine...
