Help several questions about G3

i've just bought G3 2 days ago , and i have sooo many things to ask :D
1. does psx4droid work on this phone ?
2. does this phone support flash player , macromedia , realplayer and streaming ?
3. i heard that this phone can be upgrade to 2.2 froyo ?
iam looking 4ward to hearing answers from you guys :D
 
yes the 2.2 froyo update is coming officially for the g3 sometime in april 2011. That's what the guys at samsung said.

It supports realplayer,streaming and flash player.

-2 IT SUPPORTS *ONLY* FLASH WHEN YOU UPDATE TO UNOFFICIAL FroYo 2.2 OR WAIT TIL THE OFFICIAL FroYo UPDATE FROM SAMSUNG IT SUPPORTS ALSO FLASH!
-3 YES IT CAN BE WAIT UNTIL APRIL FOR OFFICIAL OR UPDATE NOW TO UNOFFICIAL.

April is when the official ROM will be published for America. There are already custom ROMs that have been built by people for 2.2. Android 2.3 has been leaked (the kernel for the apollo), so we might even be able to run 2.3 on our phones using custom ROMs soon.
 
do you know when will it be pulished in asia ?
BTW , what's custom roms ?
will it brick my phone or smt like that ?
 
I think asian firmware was released already. Which is why we have custom 2.2 ROMs.

Custom roms are roms people developed by themselves. No they won't brick your phone unless you try flashing the boot partition.

i'll get my G3 tomorrow (hopefully)

Found it at a good price i think...80 british pounds (about 100 euros). What do you think about that? Is it worth it? I thought it was a bargain after reading the GSM arena review and seeing the features!
Does this phone support multitouch? i couldn't find this anywhere...


i'm upgrading from a nokia 5230 so i think i'll be satisfied (i know how android feels like, my sis has an galaxy europa and ma girlfriend has an x8).

well , it has multi touch , GPS , wifi , 3G , and android of course
with a charming 667 mhz CPU and 256 mb , it's a good decision , even though this phone is getting lesser and lesser support from samsung
this phone is'nt made 4 gaming

just got my phone. It is even unlocked :lol: I did not expect it to come unlocked at that price.

First impressions: well built (really good build quality for a low end device) , nice screen sensitivity (not to high, neither to low), great speed (everything works instantly).

Can't really say more at the moment. Will come back with more after i tested it for a bit :D
 
when the froyo 2.2 releashed , the touchy part and speed will get better :D
the prob is the date it releashed is around april :(
