Hi There,
I have recently purchased a galaxy S4 international version on e-bay.
It has Android version 4.2.2, Baseband version I9505XXUAMDC.
When I am connecting it to Samsung Kies, it says: "your device's current firmware version is not supported to update firmware via kies"
I am not sure what is this means?
Will I be able to update the firmware later when it has come out as the seller claims?
What could possibly cause this?
Was the device rooted without my knowledge?
Shall I send it back to the seller and ask for a refund?
I have no intention to root it, or use anything else instead of KIES...even it is a pain to use sometimes.
I have seen numerous topics in this subject, but none of them answered my questions.
Could somebody help me please?
Thank you!
Inimma
