Hey all,

yesterday, my Tmobile GS4 was fine. I was out late and the battery died. Now Its fully charged but i am still unable to turn it on. I can SOMETIMES get it to the Samsung welcome screen before it simply shuts back down.

This is stock Rom, stock everything, not even rooted device.

Can anyone help?

(Im happy to donate as others here can attest)

Try wiping the cache partition as per #1.2 of the Update Problems - Dummies Guide to see if that resoles your problem. If not, see if you can boot into Safe Mode as described in #1.1. This could narrow it down to firmware or user apps and/or settings.

My initial plan before posting here was to try and wipe cache but it will not even power on normal or recovery for me to do so.

I'm afraid that if you cannot even turn a phone on, then there is nothhing that can be done and it's time for a trip to a Samsung Service Point. Before that, try and see if you can charge the battery in another phone in case there is a problem with the USB/charging port that is not allowing the battery to charge.

Before going to the shop...
Try this. Charge the phone till it's cully charged. Use another charger and cable if you are able to. Before starting the phone, pull the battery for about 10 seconds, and re-insert the battery, re-connect the charger, and then try turning the device on.

Your charger might not be supplying enough "juice" so it can't power up....
Aloha and Good Luck!
