Help SGS slow responding accelerometer.......

Hi all, got my SGS this week and only real annoying problem is I find the accelerometer to be slow on times.....when I want to text and switch to the qwerty board by rotating the phone it sometimes just sits there and does not respond, can wait for a while, (smae when I want to view my photos) or I will just move it back vertical and then horizontal again.....really annoying, anyone get same prob? is there any fixes/causes for this?

It's not the accelerometer. Sounds like your phone is having some lag problem. Which firmware version are you on?

It says on my phone that I'm on firmware version "2.1-update1". Is that the newest update?

it says my baseband version is "I9000XXJF3" is that the most recent version/update? If not how do I update it?

My firmware is 2.2.1 and my baseband version is I9000JXJPF. I didnt update but I installed google maps. How can I fix this........
