The phone's wifi has worked perfectly with my Netgear modem until yesterday when it started going into a continuous scan / connect / disconnect loop. My laptop connects wirelessly to the modem so I can't see the problem being there. Can anyone help please?
The simplest thing to try is to remove the battery with the phone switched on. Replace the battery and power back on. If that don't work then reset the router.
Thanks Ray, I actually got some advice I tried earlier which was close to yours, and it worked. I set the phone to forget the wifi connection, rebooted the modem, then re established the connection. Is this a known problem with the S / S+ ?
It's happened to me a couple of times in the past and I've also got a Netgear router. I honestly don't know if it's the SGS or the router that's at fault but I'm leaning towards blaming the router considering I have to re-set it every couple of weeks or so. I'm not too concerned at the moment because Virgin Broadband will be supplying me with one of their Superhubs in the near future.
