SGS2-i9100 I messed up the root.....

OMG I F**cked UP!!!
I have a SGS2 i9100 and by being a bit of a twat I flashed the wrong root
I was following the instructions on galaxys2root.com and somehow got mixed up between 2 different models and ended up accidently installing the i777 root
So then I did the correct i9100 root
 
if you can go to the recovery mode.. i think there's still a way. .. not sure though. maybe you should go back to the stock kernel again.. then redo your work from step1. . .

Thanks for the help, I just want to check a couple of things, I dont know any of the original details about my phone as the guide I followed didnt say anything like make a note of the version or kernel version before rooting....

If I do *#1234# now I get
PDA: I9100BGLP9
PHONE: I9100BGLP2
CSC: I9100XECLP6
build info Tue Jun 5 11:23:04 KST 2012

This is what KIES says
PDA: LP9
phone: LP2
CSC: LP6 (XEC)

Ive looked on the SamMobile site and for my country - Spain there are the following for ICS

Country Date Android PDA CSC
Spain 2012 May 4.0.3 I9100XWLPG I9100OXXLPL
Spain 2012 April 4.0.3 I9100XWLP7 I9100OXXLPH

Which one do I need? Or have I screwed myself by not knowing the original details?
I can download either but only the top one has the KIES button.

My phone seems to be in a weird half rooted state, I get the yellow triangle, I can install Adfree but it doesn't work, and when I verify Root access with root checker it says I do not have proper root access.

Thankfully the phone still works fine!!

I did as you said and its all fine now!!! absolute life saver, wish I'd found this site first now
