Sgs2 Logo (of samsung) vs "Stride Gum" logo :)

It hit me recently, having saw a similar " S " logo when my phone is powering down or up..

Remember the Stride Gum mark? here it is :

Other than the fact that they're both the letter S, I don't see a resemblance on design.
