Help SGS2 Software Update - now calendar doesnt work!!

As it says really my SGS2 did a software update on Saturday night. When I switched it back on again everything looked different and had been moved around. I spent a fair while sorting it all out but the one thing I cant sort is my calendar.

It used to sync automatically between phone and laptop via a googlemail account but now its just not working - I am having to manually sync them - not ideal as I use my calendar for work.

Any ideas what I can do to fix it??

ETA - I have now got it that if I put something on calendar on laptop it automatically updates on to phone but wont do it the other way round :-(

Make sure the phone is set to save to Google Calendar, not My Calendar
