Help SGS3 Back Button Not Very Responsive

I'm having issues with my back button on my Samsung Galaxy S3. I had bought it about 13 days ago on craigslist from some lady. I had no problems with it up until now and the back button is becoming less responsive. I am wondering what could be wrong with it. It's getting to the point where I have to tap it about 9 times to get it to go back It's quite annoying.

I've not dropped or exposed it to water. I keep it in my Ballistic SG MAXX case at all times.


Any suggestions would be awesome.

I had called Verizon after finding no information about it.. She had me Clear internet Cache and Cookies, turn off phone, take out battery for 30 seconds. Then had me turn the phone on and try to use it, worked for a few hours then it came back.

I called back to Verizon, this time they told me that since I pay for insurance 6.99 or something, they're sending me a new phone in which will be here Wednesday. I am pretty happy with this, I didn't think I would get a replacement since I bought it through craigslist.
