Help Sgs3 keyboard problem

Hi, can anyone pls help me out. My sgs keyboard has a problem whenever i press my backspace button the 'L' key is pressed. Even if my thumb tip is right at the backspace the L key is pressed. I dont think its hardware issue because this problem happens only in messaging apps like facebook or go sms pro. Can anybody pls help me out

Try installing a touch screen test app just to make sure that the touch screen is responding properly in that corner of your screen.

As i told it was more like a software issue not hardware because it is happening with chat apps only. However i just installed swiftkey 3 and everything is fine now. I guess it was with samsung keyboard.

I had a similar issue and solved it the same way. SwiftKey is hands down a better keyboard.

I use Thumb Keyboard. I haven't used the default keyboard since like the second week I got the phone.

I've also encountered the same problem. When I hit the backspace button, I always end up hitting the "m" button. Or when I try to press the "." button, the letter "m" is pressed instead.

What's funny is that when I switch to the punctuation keyboard, I get to accurately press the backspace without activating other keys.

Thanks for the suggestion in installing Swiftkey; I'll give it a try.

Swype beta.works well

This newest Swype beta is awesome! Much better than any pre installed version I've used, and the older beta versions I've tried also. (Even the older betas were better than the newer pre installed one's)
