Have had my SGS3 since its release last year and my only real problem is that it does not say the senders name when a SMS is received but does announce the callers name when a call is received. Upgraded from SGS1 which without any additional app did announce SMS sender.
Did phone Samsung Support about this, and after they tested on their phone found this was happening to them as well (and yes Driving Mode was on). They advised that this would be rectified in a future upgrade.
Since reporting the fault there has been at least 2 software upgrades but the problem persists. If there are any Samsung people monitoring this Forum perhaps you could enlighten us as to when this will be fixed.
