Sgsiii?

I have a sneaking suspicion that the Dinc 4G may come out before they switch, but the the SGS3 will probably be their kool aid for people to guzzle to drop unlimited data. :frown:

It better be quad core, or it's just a Gnex skinned out with touchwiz and more bloat.

What about a removable battery? I would want that option like on my Rezound. It seems that amoled might save some on battery, but if it's not 2,500 mAh battery like the note, I'll burn through it. Please give me hope it'll be better than my Rezound!

I just want a Rezound with the battery of a Maxx in the body of a SGSIII with the option to remove the UI and bloat without rooting, is that too much to ask? :P

All indications are it will be the dual-core Snapdragon S4 so that LTE is supported. Also has a 2100mAh removable battery. And knowing VZW it will have as much bloat as they can think of, but rooting has already been achieved.

I'm sure the Dinc 4G will be out before the plan change but hopefully no-one buys it anyway. I'm hoping this comes out before the plan change and they wait for the iPhone 5 to change the plan. I'm really hoping this comes out next month!

I've never paid attention to the specs of the S II, however, since VZW never carried it, I'd say that's the significant upgrade.

The Galaxy Nexus is actually slightly better specd than the original S2, with unlockable bootloader, HD screen, Stock android and no bloat. (processor is probably slightly less capable). The jump from GNex to S3 is not a lot, although if the radios are better, that would make things more interesting.

How is that a significant upgrade from the SGSII?

How is it not? The SIII even with the S4 (verizon's variant) will be much, much faster than the SII.

It will also be faster than the Galaxy Nexus (other s4 phones seem to blow away the GNex in most benchmarks - I can't see why this phone would be any worse) and by using a true system-on-a-chip platform with built-in LTE should improve battery life.

Looks a sleek, beautiful phone for sure. How much battery savings? I use two extended batteries for my Rezound, I'd hate to do that to a sgs3.

Samsung I9300 Galaxy S III battery life test concludes, results come out promising - GSMArena Blog

Those tests make the SGIII look better overall, but it really depends on how you use the device. I know the Rezound has pretty bad battery life, but if you're going through 2 extended batteries, I have a bad feeling that all but one phone will disappoint you in this area. Maxx, period.

I don't go through both, but I use Pandora at work and after a full day including charging at lunch I make it just fine on one, but if it gets low I swap and charge the dead one overnight.

There are reports that the pebble blue version is delayed due to production issues.

If that's the case, that probably will further push back the US release of this phone.

I like the white one and that's the color that I want. I hope they will start selling the white ones and not to wait for the blue.
