Shake awake

Is there something that way, especially if it's already built in, that would make it possible to switch a phone on just by shaking it? These side keys don't always work that well. I checked that assistant menu on the Samsung A02s but couldn't find any such thing.

Most Samsung phones have a lift to wake feature:

Also Easy Screen Turn On, which wakes the screen by waving your hand over the proximity sensor at the top of the screen.
May or may not be built in to your device but there are third-party apps that do these things, just check the permissions to avoid malware.

As @Fox Mulder mentioned, I use an app that uses the proximity sensor to wake my device.

Wave Up is on F-Droid, is open source, and free of ads or malware/tracking.

I found it for Fdroid and apkpure. It downloaded but says 0 b. I tried multiple times. This apk should be about 4 - 5 mb. What's the deal? I have Fdroid installed which should mean no trouble getting the right version automatically.
