Shall we begin?

they should release an sdk somewhere to manually update.

the drivers on 2.2 are probably the same if not better to compensate for the new stuff

it's 9:32 in cali and my gf and dad's transform havn't gotten there's yet... they should of just stopped yanking our chain and said u'll get the update after the 24 instead of saying that everyone will get it OTA cause apparently only the chosen few got the update.

mine started downloading the update minutes later.

It's about half done.

cannot believe I'm getting it after 1:30am on the 25th, but hey, at least I got it.

just hope it finishes, and works properly, worried about the video chat not working, and that is prime importance for me since we don't get flash for net, that's my #2 wish, so it better work or this is pointless....

maybe it's because I downloaded google sky, but mine was downloading when I went and checked 'update android', it was about a 1/3 done.

keeping my fingers crossed that it works!

I was actually in the middle of trying out an msn messenger app I had just downloaded on my phone when the notification appeared.

I finally got it. 2:34am EST now I can sleep lol

Btw I was in the middle of downloading 2 apps when it showed up.

Started manual download; says downloading; BUT after 1/2 hour still with scrolling bar and nothing else. Did battery pull, then clicked on update, but stuck on scrolling download without progressing. Phone in Wi-Fi zone in house. Any ideas, HELP!

I got the notice at 4:30am (central), it took about an hour plus to download and then install.

Once I rebooted like it asked I got the screen with the android, the triangle and exclaimation point. I did a hard reset and checked to see if it installed but I still show 2.1 and now when I go to update my system it keeps telling me I am up to date. Very annoying.

When I woke up this morning my wife's phone had received the update however I still haven't this is funny.. I guess it's to the sprint store after work... cuz it sounds like the manual isn't working for people...

Hey, you guys that have the update - can you end a call with the power button, or anything other than that blasted finger-slide?
Since nobody answered this, I'll answer it myself. The answer is YES. Go to your settings, pick "Accessibility." If you get the notice about not having a screen reader installed, etc., just cancel out of that. Now you'll see a choice for "During a call, power button ends call" or very similar. Check the box, and no more *#*(&% slide to end call!:D:)

Between this and Easy Answer, I should be much happier.

As for the rest, the phone seems to run a bit better now, but I wouldn't call the improvement "huge." We'll see as time goes on how battery life is, if at all different, and how the speed feels as I get used to the 2.2 differences. Need to find out how to turn the text white and background black in the Messaging software, if that's even possible. I liked it better that way than the black-on-white it has now in 2.2.

My wife received the notification at 7:08am EST. Haven't installed yet. I don't want to hear about it from her if the phone bricks. Want to see how it goes for you guys first.

I keep getting pop ups starting this morning saying update is avaliable, but gonna wait till I get home and hook it up to the charger and my Wi-Fi.
St. Louis Mo. area.
