Shapefile App

[Rozza]

Hi there,
Just wondering if anyone knows if there is an Android app available for creating Shapefiles (.shp) using the GPS feature on an Android phone.
I have an HTC Desire running Android 2.2 and am looking for an app that will allow me to create shapefiles while travelling around the boundaries of various properties.
Any help much appreciated,
Rory.

Hi,

Check out pcMapper Db

It lets you import/export ESRI shapefiles and edit attributes in SQLite.

Found one called MapItFast. Requires online subscription though. According to their website, it looks easy and powerful.
