Share storage between N7 and Galaxy Nexus?

I have 32GB on my Galaxy Nexus and 8GB on my N7.
Is it possible to connect the two and use the Galaxy as a USB Mass storage via OTG cable similar to how you can use a USB storage device? When I connected the two nothing happened, so I selected PTP but it only loads pictures, no videos.

Mainly looking for a cheap way to have 4-5x 720p videos with me when I travel next week. Hoping to not have to buy a large external drive or high capacity usb stick for only one use.

I'm guessing the Nexus 7 doesn't support reading MTP. You could use the NFC/Bluetooth thingy to transfer videos between the two, though I'm not sure how fast the transfer speeds of that would be.

This is actually a good idea, I am in the same situation (although I have a 16GB N7) But would be cool to be able to use both and just transfer to the N7 as needed.

Look into Airdroid in the market. There are others.

Airdroid is great for sharing between phone and pc, but phone to tablet is cumbersome at best.. the interface is really designed for a pc, and it doesn't allow streaming from the device.

I was hoping to load some movies on my phone, and watch them on my tablet.

I'm thinking bluetooth is the only way but it would probably be super slow. My advice is to find an 8 gb flash drive somewhere on sale for like 8-10 bucks. Might be worth it because you can use it whenever you want to.

Yeah I just ended up buying a 32GB usb stick, which fits about 8 or 9 movies in 720p

Also I found it odd, but the stock kernel reads NTFS without an issue...
