Help Sharing a tweet through text on S5.

I'm having an issue with sharing a tweet via text messaging. I am able to share the tweet to a friend via text, but said friend won't see anything on their end. I'm on AT&T.

Does anybody else have this problem?

yes. The text will read i.e. "Check Out @Shaq's Tweet: https://twitter.com/Shaq/status/238574592398"

Hmm, so they don't get any message at all from that? I wonder if ATT is flagging it as spam or something.

I wonder if you delete the text before it and just send the link?

it's strange. It works fine with Tweetcaster, but it's just the official Twitter app that is giving me problems.
