Help Sharing geotagged images

I take an image with my S5 and ensure geotagging i.e. "location" is on. I then open the image, on Gallery, and see in info that I can open Google Maps from there and see where the image is taken.

I now want to send the image to my Galaxy tablet and open its Googke Maps app and see the same location. I email the image, in Gallery, but the location data is not there.

How can I transfer the geotagged data with the image?

Any help please?

Do you use Google photos? If so stop emailing them and just login to photos.Google.com and see if geotagging info comes across

No I don't; I have used PS Elements for many years and have got used its ways; however not for geotagging. I will look at Google photos.

I have found one way to tranfer location; bluetooth between machines.

Not so sure about Google Photos. I only want it to upload photos I select, not a whole folder.
