Help shattered screen - replacement incompatible??

My note 2 had it's screen shattered when it dropped on the pavement.

I originally bought the note 2 in Korea and I went to a samsung repair centre in the usa and they said they cannot fix as the screens will be different and I would need to return to korea to have it replaced.

Are the screens actually different or is it actually possible to use an ATT or verizon screen in a Korean version note 2??

My model # is SHV-e250s

WoW! Sorry that happened.

I honestly have no idea if the screens are interchangeable or even compatible.
Have you tried calling Samsung to ask them?
