shootme error on Evo

I just got done reading this article about how you can take screen shots with the app shootme on unrooted phones. I downloaded the app and even read comments on the market stating how it's working on nonrooted phones. When I open it, I get an error talking about root access. I've googled the message and have read replies about updating phone with the recent update and it'll work. I got my phone yesterday and was told it was current. When I try to update it says everything is current. Any ideas?

Ok...so despite numerous clicks on check for updates it finally just read there is an update available for my phone. Odd that it took me 5 times before it said there was an update. Hopefully this fixed it.

Yes, you had to do the Latest OTA (known mostly as the FPS update) for ShootMe to work on the unrooted phones. Or have a launch day non-updated phone also, it worked for a short while on them.
