Root Short battery life

- I just went back to the stock ROM and rooted and I'm back to the short battery life, before I could get almost 2 days of use now I'm only getting 5-6 hours.

- I thought that someone posted a fix in another thread but I've read too many post in the last week to remember where and the steps, I want to say it involved installing a ram manager and going into airplane mode for 15 minutes.

Thanks in advance

That was posted by SwoRNLeaDejZ. Here's the thing though.. We started really making progress around the time t-mobile and metro merged.. Our phones are still cdma while metro is trying to convert to gsm. Our phones are being over run with data fluctuations causing the phones to overwork without knowing it.. We assume it's the roms or gps or whatever because like I said we started really making Rom progress these last few months.. Thing is though it's happening on all roms including stock.. It also is happening to other MetroPCS customers on "older" models.. It has a lot to do with your region.. and it happens often at times and not so at others. But I'm sure you as well as many of us have have been trying out this rom and that rom as well as rom baselesses so again we trick ourselves into blaming it on the rom or port

- Thanks, it's a shame. I fashed the loki kernal and underclocked to 1ghz plus turned the display to 25%. I'm not getting 2 days anymore but I am going the whole day again so it's an improvement.

- The Nexus 4 went on sale for $200 8GB $250 16GB. Just going to play the waiting game for the towers to swtich over.

- Maybe I can get 2 or even 3 days again =) Greenify > loki kernal > underclocked 1.03GHz > 25% brightness > custom debloat. 15% loss after 10.5 hours of normal use.

Yeah these changes being made are killing my battery. Phone stays hot and battery usage is horrible. I can hardly get a solid data connection at home any more.

- Try changing the PRL back to 3032 the 3035 isn't working for most people. There is a guide here for that.

just short of 12 hours of light to medium use without charging.

Have this problem today too. Only 5 hrs and my phone was hot like a chunk of coal in my pocket. Are you in fl? I am and I want to believe the stuff about the networks, but it's weird that it just happened the day after I finally flash to cm.

I'm in the Atlanta area. Guess the south is getting hit pretty hard with these changes.
