Talking of toilet paper ..
A friend of mine used to work designing buildings for the govt and had this great story about a nuclear bunker destroyed by bog roll. Apparently, this bunker filled with loo roll (obviously critical for post-apocalyptic life) had a fire, the sprinklers kicked in and the weight of the wet bog pulled the shelter down from the inside.
