Shortcut to a .pdf file

On my Droid X I could place a short cut on my screen to a .pdf file that I use frequently. I had Astro file manager on Droid X and I have also on my S3.

I cant see a way to do this on S3...Can anyone tell me if I have to download another app. to have this capability.

The file in in a folder on my SD card. Thanks
