I don't want the phone to use a scheduled Activesync update (for battery conservation) and would like to do it manually from a desktop shortcut without having to go deep into the settings menus.
This can be done from within the mail app when viewing the Exchange mailbox, but that only sync's mail and ignores the calendar and contacts. If the mail sync updated the calendar and contacts as well then I wouldn't care about a separate ability.
So, any way to put that "Sync Now" widget on one of my home screens ?
