Help Shortcut to manually Sync Calendar

Hi, I haven't been able to find an app/widget to add a shortcut to manually sync the calendar for a specific account, or in any case, to take me to the 'Accounts and sync settings'->'Account sync' screen.

The reason is I don't want auto-sync enabled all the time. I tried using Anycut to create a shrotcut, but it kept crashing. Any ideas?

This sounds like a good idea. I would also benefit from this.
Having just installed CallTrace I need to sync my calendar at the end of each day and I refuse to have auto-sync on as I don't need constant updates.

Hopefully someone has a solution or could make such a widget/app.

I have an HTC Inspire and to make a manual sync shortcut I:

1. pushed on the icon, right of the word phone, that looks like a paint brush and pad;

2. went to "Add items to Home" and pressed Shortcut;

3. scrolled to the bottom and pressed Settings; and

4. pressed on Accounts & sync.

If you are running HTC Inspire android 2.2, you already have an preinstalled option to add a short cut to sync-all on your home screen. go to personalize -> shortcut -> add widget -> Sync all. You can still turn on the background sync but turn off the auto-sync and click on sync-all shortcut when ever you are on Wifi...
