Should I keep my S3 original stock ROM or should I change it

Should I keep my S3 original stock ROM or should I change it

Kind of like saying "Should I keep my car stock or soup it up"? Nobody can give an accurate answer without know why you want to do that. There are lots of good reasons to root and install different ROMs and kernels. But there are at least as many good reasons for some to remain totally stock. Give us some more info and I'm sure you'll get some helpful responses.

not sure. This is my first phone(android). And some people say that this i9300's default one is slow. and recently it got stuck when running an app and my koi wallpaper also crashed. 3rd day of my android device

If you have only had it 3 days, I would say don't root as yet. Use it a couple of weeks and get the feel of it. As for the slowness and being new, you should do a Factory reset and then evaluate the Stock phone for a couple of weeks.

If you are not really into rooting phones, I suggest you not and just keep it stock. One option you may consider is trying a different launcher. I use Nova Prime and find it to be very fast and stable.

You mentioned that you had an issue with an app. Which app is that? Perhaps it is an issue with the app. I am not familiar with Koi Wallpaper. Is that an animated wallpaper? If so, those usually slow phones down. You can try not using it and the other app and see how it goes. Any issues you have with specific apps, I suggest you see if those issues are known. You can also contact the developer and report the issues you are having. The developers may be able to help you.

Rooting opens up a whole new world, but dont just dive into it.

You can do a LOT of damage to your device of you dont know what youre doing. Theres a reason these dont ship with root privileges:D

With that being said, ill never own another nonrooted android phone.

The rooted stock vs custom rom arguument is a completely different conversation.

Stock is really good tbh.
As its your first android, you have nothing to compare it to though.
Unless youre the type of person who cant help tinkering with things lol id keep it stock for now atleast until you know more about android and what you want from the phone that it doesnt already give you
