Im wondering since the note 2 didnt come with a security app should i put one on it or no? If yes which one is best lookout mobile security?

I also use Lookout on all three of my devices, it's brilliant and free as the other user said. Although you can upgrade it and it will back up all your photos on your devices too. Very handy for new parents/gradparents who never get a spare minute to transfer photos to their computer for safe keeping, lol

Just wondering why the note 2 didnt come with lookout preinstalled like all the other phones do?

I've had lookout on all my phone since the Evo and I don't see what security it provided that common sense didn't allow me to do for myself. I stopped using it when I got the S2 and never looked back.
Maybe it's me, but these type of apps make one believe you NEED it. For me it was just one less app I needed.

On my iPhone every time it went to sleep it asked for a four digit code to be entered. I thought this was great and protected my phone from prying eyes and might cause a thief a little inconvenience.
With my SGN2 I am only prompted to enter a code if I have powered off.
Is there anyway I can set it up to ask for a code at sleep mode.
Thanks

Nq security is the best I have found. Finds patches n malware lookout, sophos, and avg have missed. N thats without paying the subscription which I now pay for. Highly recomended

The moment Android let security out of hand that a security software is needed to keep your phone secure, like what Microsoft did in the past, it would be time for me to find another OS. Probably it would be the final straw for me to consider Apple an acceptable device.

For $20 a year I might consider NQ, but I wonder how necessary it really is.

I do like the calling and texting blocking feature of the program as I get spam text all the time.

Not nq, use avast, I droped nq, there subscription didnt work after I changed my sim legetly, also they wont refund me, I am having to dispute it on my card. There a terreble business and would get a bbb claim, but there based in china so prolly wont care
