Help Should I replace my phone

[Kitten6943]

Ok so my phone constantly gets extremely hot even when I'm not messing with it. The battery drains extremely fast. What should I do about my galaxy s6 edge

That doesn't sound overly healthy, are you aware of any CPU intensive apps which may be running in the background? Have you installed or updated any apps of late?

No everything is the same.

Wasn't there a problem with some Samsungs caused by recent update, something to do with Oculus I think it was, causing excessive battery drain and phones to run hot. And the fix is to either disable or uninstall it.

This has been happening even before the update

Run the phone in safe mode. If the symptoms do not occur during safe mode, then you have a rogue app running in the background causing excessive CPU cycles (hence heat and quick battery drain).
