Root should i root

i wana root my epic 4g touch to get ics but i seems like it is close to being released am i better off just waiting for it

If in warranty still i would wait as its right around the corner. But if not might as well cant hurt

If all you want is ICS? I'd wait for the official release. Root if you;re interested in the other things rooting brings like root only apps, bloat removal, custom roms beyond plain ICS and don't mind voiding the warranty to get them.

Oh, and this is moving to all things root!

If you Root...You can have an ICS Leaked Rom...
They are just the Greatest...But with Root you can do other things as well...
