Should I switch my Hero for the legend?

I have had my HTC Hero now for what - 9 months? And applied 2.1 to it a while back. Seeming as my contact does not run out in time for the HTC Legend I was going to just get it sim-free / PAYG and unlock it, and then sell the Hero.

What is everybody else with a Hero going to do? :/

From looking at specs Legend isn't that different from Hero.

I third that. The Legend's only selling point seems to be the aluminium body, which is nice but unless you plan to bang your phone against the wall early and often...

+4 I'm seriously thinking of upgrading to the Desire, but I wouldn't swap my Hero for a legend. Looks like pretty much the same phone with a facelift, particularly as 2.1 is coming to the Hero at around the same time as the Legend's release.
