Should I switch to Android?

Hi everyone
This is my first post ever. I have had an iphone 4 ever since it got released last July. I kind of feel like my iphone is becoming obsolete. What are the pros and cons of me switching over from a iphone to an android phone? My iphone has always been jailbroken. Can I pirate apps on an android phone? Are there apps like mywi that let you tether for free? Can you shs on a android phone? Also the pirating part is pretty important is there an app similar to installous that will enable me to get the apps for free?
