I'm going tomorrow to exchange my Esteem, (hopefully.)
My microphone is really horrible, I sound like Wall-E. :(

Should I Un-Root before I go in or just keep my phone with the 2ghz speed?

Yes i would do a factory reset but still make a back-up just in case they dont give you a new phone also back-up your apps.
And dont worry about having CWR they would not check that.

Honestly I took my rooted esteem back like 2 moths ago the guy saw the superuser app and did not even notice lol well at the time I didn't have a custom rom or anything like that but it was rooted some of them might know others not so you could take a chance but I guess is best if you unroot.

I unrooted, flashed back to stock ROM, and flashed stock recovery. Dude was setting up the exchange, saw superuser, and voided my warranty.

I would do anything and everything, to make it look like how I bought it. Just my opinion :)

So uninstall superuser?

yes

you are correct, alot of metro reps are suppose to look for apps like SU, that way they dont have to warranty your phone and say well you rooted it and now it's your problem, even tho if the phone has a reboot issue, or hardware issue and it is not your fault.

just unroot it and do a factory reset and take your external sim card out. I kept mine in and the asshole thought it was ok to keep my 16GB class ten card

A easier way to unroot is to use the new AIO rootkit. It has a option to unroot, and uninstall cwm and put the factory one back on. I would use that for a quick and easy process. That ways you don't have to do a factory reset. Just uninstall any apps that require root and you should be fine. :D
