Root Should I unroot before taking my phone in????

My phone screen has the jitters. When I press on the screen, the screen shakes up and down about 1/8 to 1/4 of an inch. I have changed ROMS and rebooted the phone and it still is there.

I want to take it in and was wondering if I should unroot the phone or just remove stuff like wireless tether and ROM manager and hope they don't see the superuser icon?

I have installed my rooted stock rom backup at this point.

Thanks,

use launcher pro to hide the superuser icon and any other root apps. Or find an app that has the same purpose.

seems like a hardware problem so root or unroot shouldnt be an issue but to just be safe i would unroot completely. They could still check the "about phone" and find that your kernel version to be different than stock. or if they try to do a hard reset they would find a custom recovery.

or even give you a replacement right then and there...so I vote for unroot....if they do not give you a replacement there, but they order one. It will be at your place in 3 days anyways

well if he installed the stock rom then the kernel wouldn't be different.
