should I update to latest 906 SW

my phone is running ok. is there any reason i should or should not upgrade to the latest version. does it fix anything significant, or break anything significant?

also, i plan to root just to get a few things, like better battery life and other features root offers me. Not to put up custom roms, etc.

So should I update or not? thanks.

There were a few things fixed, though I don't recall all of them. For sure, though, the camera is better, sleep mode works, the phone is more stable and does not spontaneously restart as often. The phone can still be rooted with Dan Rosenberg's MotoFail method.
