Im a user from Turkey and my current version is;
Baseband version: I9100XXKE4
Kernel Version: 2.6.35.7-I9100XWKE7 -CL215725
root@DELL103 #2
Build number: GINGERBREAD.XWKE7
Now my question is: I heard that there are some regional factors we need to look out for while upgrading our firmware, and than there are unofficial releases and leaks such as 2.3.5. As I read, if you install the wrong region there might be some problems with your network, 3G and such. Im a new android user and I dont know which code refers to my regional code! Thats why im asking, to which firmware I should upgrade, there is XXKI3, there is XXKG7, so many codes and I dont know which is the right one and I dont want to mess my phone up! please help guys thanks
edit: When I plug my Galaxy S2, Kies says "This version of the device cannot be updated". Does have to do anything with me using ODIN before for updating my phones firmware to XWKE7? I had XWKE2 before...
