Should I use WiFi or Bluetooth to hotspot my phone

I have the option to either enable the hotspot through Bluetooth or creating a WiFi network. I want to know which one is better in terms of saving the battery on the Nexus 5. As you may know this phone battery life isn't that good. Any Tips would be helpful. Thank you

I don't think it will make much difference in terms of battery usage - they are both 100% duty cycle. Wifi will certainly be faster though.

I don't share your opinion on the Nexus' battery life though. This has the best battery life of any smartphone I've ever owned (and I've owned/used plenty). With two IMAP accounts running, I only lose 2-3% overnight (~ 8hrs).

I have T Mobile and you may know that they allow you to stream music from various sources. Does that include streaming over The Hotspot feature?
