Should I wait for Nexus Prime or get a Droid Bionic?

My contract with AT&T is coming to an end on September 5 and I will be making the switch to Verizon. I'm really intrigued by the Nexus Prime, so would it be smarter to grab a Droid Charge now for around $70 on contract and then buy the Nexus Prime for ~$600 in a few months as opposed to, say, the Droid Bionic/Galaxy S2 for $299 on contract and waiting a year for an upgrade?

If your contract ends, and you just can't stand at&t enough to pay monthly until the nexus comes out, and you must have the nexus (since it sounds like you would shell out the extra $600 to upgrade in a few months anyway) then yeah get the Bionic. But the nexus prime is only an extra month or two away, might be worth it to wait for the better phone without wasting your money, and suffer with your current one a bit longer.

AFAIK, there's still no certainty that the Prime will come to Verizon. If their track record of no vanilla Android phones (besides the Droid), and certainly no Nexus proves anything, it's still doubtful.
