That would be nice. Unfortunately, LG doesn't seem to think that is a necessary feature on their devices.

If anyone wants to try a cool boot animation. I edited this to the size of our screens with a little color enhancement and I sped it up as well. Just place the file in system/media as is, don't unzip it or rename it. Enjoy.
