why can't i display more than one clock, each with a different city time zone, at a time?

i have a SGSII with latest android and i can add cities at the world clock screen but am unable to have more than one chosen.

i also have beautiful widgets but that does not allow it either.
would be nice if there was an android system solution rather than another app.

any ideas?
thanks :)

You need a widget that supports world clock. The dual clock widget is built in to some Samsung phones for the clock of two areas at the same time.

My Lenovo comes with a World Time widget, that allows me to have as many clocks as I like. Maximum of 8 clocks per screen. :) I would imagine there's a clock widget available on Google Play that does something similar. What actual clock widgets come with phones, is down to the manufacturer, like Samsung or Lenovo.

One option might be to have multiple instances of the same clock widget on the screen, e.g. one showing Beijing and another showing London time. Would be much better here if you're using small clock widgets of course.

i have tried this but does not work.

It's easier if I show you a screen-shot.

It's just two instances of the same world time widget, set for different countries. I can have as many as I like. This is a widget that came with a Lenovo phone.

There seems to be a few world time clock widget apps on the Play store that do the same thing though.

I use PolyClock, its widget shows some of the choosen locations (cities) in a single frame :)

The OP needs to use a specific clock widget that supports multiple instances of different locations. On the Galaxy SII, the built in one is the dual clock widget which can show two locations.

Then you can download other widgets from the market like the aforementioned poly clock, or Go Weather EX (can show time and weather from different cities).
