This is just something I've noticed, I don't use screenshots so, not that I really care, but it's just a curiosity:
When I take a screenshot, it appears fine on the device. When connected via MTP or as a camera however, they appear as 0kb (mass storage seems to work). I copied one of Curtis' screenshot pngs and it appears fine as well. Odd.
I'm on LAwe.
Anyway- I suppose Ill contribute to the thread and post a screenshot of my boring minimal desktop.

Which rom are you using? May be anything causing that issue. Try wiping caches in recovery to see if it clears the issue up. Might want to clear the data on gallery, whatever camera app you are using and file manager. And in the end it could be a rom issue with how it is displaying files via mtp
