Show off your gear!

TheAtheistReverend

Anybody want a peanut?
I figured it was about time to ask everyone that still lurks in this forum to show off their case with stickers, their fancy paint mods, cool clips, holsters, docks or whatever you like to use with or mod on or around the use of your DInc2!
Here's what I got.

First my ever so slightly modded dock for using my DInc2 as an alarm clock. All I really did was buy a $5 speaker set off Amazon and cut it so the phone would fit in it.

Then I have my car dock made based on something I saw in the Eris forums way back with hooks to hang it from my ashtray, and a little Sugru to pad the "feet" so it doesn't slide too much when I rally race my Pup around the corners. The rubber bands are to provide traction for the phone so I don't need to build sides for the "dock". This thing works amazing!

I get bored really quickly!!! The Incredible kept me happy, until it took a hardware crap recently. so i used ins to get the dinc2 so i dont use up my upgrade ... im hoping for a few nice things from mwc hehe

i still have my wifes original incredible to toy with when im bored, i still love it

Having apparently been one of the few people who opted for the inductive charger option, I found that I had narrowed my choice of available cases to about 1. Unwilling to give up my favorite $5 leather case, I was forced to fuse the two together. It ends up making my DINC2 ever thicker, but then, I seem to be getting that way myself as time goes on.
The photos also showcase the handy desk stand, fashioned from an extra piece of hardwood flooring.

I haven't turned on my computer since I used it to root my Incredible 2. It took me a day and a half to get the updates to take. I want to turn it on again but just can't get motivated to spend that much time on it. uploadfromtaptalk1330328260416.jpg

I take it that means you don't have tons of time to mess around tinkering with gear either :D
That's a good book you got there... Hope you have time for it!

You can see my phone case. I bought it for my Eris. 3 bucks on Amazon. I can plug the patch cord that is in the little radio into to my phone for better sound from my phone. That's about as far as I go for gear.

I'll read "All That We Share" after I finish "Prescription for the Planet". A very interesting book about Integral Fast Reactors among other things. The IFR runs on the waste from thermal reactors and nuclear weapons. An elegant solution to several problems so research was stopped in 1994 and a gag order was issued to the scientists. Combined with plasma converters it could replace oil but the oil companies are the only people with the resources to build it all. Come on BP, what happened to Beyond Petroleum?
