Help Show unread count Gmail

Anyone knows how to show the unread Gmail count?
Tryed the once I found in the market, but looks like they not working anymore

Any help would be great, all I want is to be able to see the unread count on the gmail icon, that's it.

Funny, I was just coming on here to ask the same question. I'm not going to spend money on another app that should be included in the original gmail app in the first place. You'd think Google would have this figured out. But alas, we only can hope. My question is, dies the stick email app on the an Android phone display the number of unread messages? If so, IM getting rid off my gmail app.
