It shouldnt. It looks like you are adding the Application not the widget. Are you sure you are chosing "widget" and not "Application "?
Hmmm... now I'm confused. The way I got 3G Watchdog was via Market. Simple download and install. Is there a widget I need to download and install?

Sorry for the confusion, there is no separate widget to install. When you hard press on the home screen and the add to home screen menu comes up, choose "widgets", this should bring up the list of widgets that you have installed and 3g watchdog should be one of them.

question!... is there a way to have folders on your homescreen? like one for music and one for games etc.? you tap it and it opens to all your game apps and all that?

i have the same problem with the 3g dog, i prefered the old one. this new one appeared after i did an update for it. when i long press the home screen and widget iget the option to install the new dog widget in 2 sizes. when i go settings > apps > manage apps in the list its the new dog. i dont seem to have the pic of the old dog anywhere
